Ann Tracy considered the floor plans and the lifestyle at Carlisle Place by Warmington Homes, and purchased a home in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley neighborhood.
Tracy relocated to Las Vegas about six months ago from Orange County, Calif. where she spent most of her life.
Tracy wanted a home close to her daughter in a Las Vegas area neighborhood that met her requirements.
Familiar with Warmington Homes, whose corporate offices are in Orange County, Tracy visited Carlisle Place and said she was impressed.
“Carlisle Place stood out to me as the best community in the southwest area,” Tracy said. “I looked at several homes and was pleased to find that I could get a brand-new single-story home — that is rare in this area, many of the single-story homes I saw were built a while back.”
That, in addition to the low-maintenance community lifestyle, sealed the deal for Tracy, who purchased a Plan One corner unit.
“I am retired and in a place in my life where it is very important to have a neighborhood that is well-maintained and requires little effort on my part,” Tracy said.
“Carlisle Place includes fully landscaped front yards, which are maintained by the neighborhood HOA, and that is something I really appreciate.”
The fairways of the Southern Highlands Golf Club and the surrounding foothills serve as a backdrop to Carlisle Place, which offers residents a community pool and private gated entry.
Carlisle Place is a collection of single-level homes in three floor plans ranging from about 1,271 to 1,428 square feet.
The plans include two and three bedrooms, two baths, direct-access two-car garages, private yards and patios.
Prices begin from the $200,000s.
Among the standard features are master suites with private baths, interior laundry rooms and kitchens with custom-designed beechwood cabinetry. Some plans incorporate a great room, den, living and dining room.
“The kitchen is my favorite room in the house,” Tracy said.
“It has so many windows, which creates such a bright and cheerful place. It makes you happy every time you walk into it.”
Homes include Energy Star-rated features such as specialized heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems and Milgard windows with low-e glass, which offer substantial cost savings and enhanced energy efficiency.
