Centex Homes has started presales at its Horizon Park community in North Las Vegas. According to sales executive Marlo Lasko, home buyers can tour model homes and secure introductory pricing in the community’s three distinct phases — Skydance, Wind Song and Whistling Breeze.
“In my seven years with Centex, I’ve never seen an opening quite like this,” Lasko said. “Horizon Park’s first three phases are planned for August, September and October closings. Buyers can purchase in phases that work with their moving timelines. Better yet, we’re currently offering the same pricing in all three phases.”
Skydance at Horizon Park is a neighborhood of single-story homes with three-car garages. Priced from the upper $200,000s, floor plans range from 1,664 to 2,757 square feet. Home buyers can select from four home designs with as many as five bedrooms and two baths or four bedrooms and three baths. Some floor plans provide multiple living and dining areas. One plan includes a loft.
Wind Song at Horizon Park offers three two-story home designs from 2,294 to 2,945. Floor plans include up to four bedrooms and three baths. Each home plan includes a three-car garage, multiple living areas and second-floor master suite. Prices start in the low $300,000s.
Also priced from the low $300,000s, Whistling Breeze features four two-story floor plans measuring 2,458 to 3,807 square feet with up to five bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. Layouts include two- or three-car garages and first- or second-floor master suites.
Home sites are approximately 6,000 square feet. Standard features include maple cabinets and cable and telephone connections in all bedrooms. Granite countertops are available. Homes in the community are Energy Star-certified.
“Our home buyers are very savvy. They visit other communities, do their homework online and arrive at Horizon Park knowing what they want in a home,” Lasko said. “We see such a sense of relief in their faces when they find two or more floor plans perfect for their needs. With our wide variety of offerings, people are sure to find what they want at Horizon Park.”
The community provides easy access to highways, schools, shopping centers, dining and is in proximity to Silver Mesa Recreation Center, which offers fitness and aquatic facilities, educational classes and special interest workshops.
The city of North Las Vegas’ 11-acre Desert Horizons Park is adjacent to the community. “Desert Horizons Park just hosted movie madness night with Curious George on the giant screen. Families had the chance to bring their blankets and picnic baskets,” Lasko said. “Home buyers are so excited at the thought of free community events right in Horizon Park’s backyard.”
Home buyers can tour model homes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday when the sales center opens at noon.
To visit, take Interstate 215, Las Vegas Beltway, to Aliante Parkway. Exit south on Aliante Parkway, which turns into Simmons Street. Proceed on Simmons to Alexander Road and the community. From Interstate 15, exit Craig Road west to Simmons, then turn south to Alexander. Horizon Park is located at the intersection of Simmons and Alexander.
