Desert Wranglers Jeep Club Wrangles Up Help For Cleanup at Boxcar Cove

Members of the Desert Wranglers Jeep Club and their families met to clean up Boxcar Cove at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area May 11. The effort was timed to provide a safer recreation environment for visitors to the cove during the Memorial Day weekend and into the summer season. The end result of the cleanup effort was a pickup load of debris that included a flat-screen television, carpet segments, broken lawn chairs, glass and plastic bottles. The Jeep owners club is sponsored by Chapman Chrysler Jeep in the Valley Auto Mall, 930 Auto Show Drive. Meetings are typically scheduled the second Thursday of every month, with a featured trip the second Saturday or Sunday. For more information about the group, visit chapmanchryslerjeep.com.
