If you’re going to sell tacos, make them the very best. Dimas has really good tacos and very large burritos. Tacos are made with ground beef, tongue, steak, pork, chicken and fish and can be ordered individually or within a combination plate served with rice and beans. Complete your taco by going to the salsa bar, where you will find whole jalapenos mixed with seasoned raw onions and carrots. Other combo plates are chile relleno, mole Mexicano, two enchiladas, 12 rolled tacos with cheese and guacamole, chile verde, super or mini nachos and chimichanga. There are enchiladas (cheese, beef, chicken), tostadas and homemade tamales that can be ordered as a half dozen or a full dozen. Those burritos include breakfast, bean and cheese, chile relleno, mixed and California. Among the sandwiches are beef, steak (carne asada), chorizo, machaca (shredded beef) and carrnitas or pork. Several sides are steak quesadilla, menudo soup and guacamole. Enjoy a churro (a long, slender, deep-fried pastry coated with sugar and cinnamon) on the way out the door. Tacos begin at $1.50, and combination plates start at $3. Dimas Tacos is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
