First family of Provence anticipates moving day

Greg and Whitney Headlee and their three children plan to move into Provence Estates by Warmington Homes in September, and they will be the first residents do so.

“We recently relocated to Las Vegas and wanted a home that was in a great location, on a large home site with an open, spacious floor plan,” Greg Headlee said. “The square footage and lot size was an extremely important factor to us since we have three children and enjoy entertaining. The homes at Provence Estates fit our criteria perfectly.”

The development is located in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley, and features seven estate-style homes, which come in two designs. They measure 3,096 to 3,838 square feet, and include as many as four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and three- or four-car garages.

The Headlees, who relocated from Tucson, Ariz. and purchased the Plan One Canterbury, praised the floor plan.

“The space within our home is very well utilized and is designed to accommodate the way we live,” Greg Headlee said. “The kitchen and children’s rooms are situated on one side of the house, while the master suite and library are on the other side — it is a wonderfully thought out design and creates a great private space for Whitney and me.”

The Headlees, who plan to add a pool to their backyard, said they were attracted to Provence Estates in part because of its impressive entry way.

“The entry courtyard is so beautiful and creates such an elegant and inviting atmosphere as you enter the house,” Greg Headlee said. “And, the foyer is very dramatic — it feels like we are living in complete luxury.”

Standard amenities include a KitchenAid stainless steel appliance package, built-in refrigerator niche, fireplaces, two-tone interior paint scheme, upgraded casing and baseboards, granite-slab kitchen counters and maple-wood cabinetry.

Also included are a library, study, formal living and dining rooms, service entry, laundry rooms with storage space and utility sink, and master bedroom suites with walk-in closets, per plan.

Other elements include cultured stone, shutters, covered patios, courtyards and covered front porch entries in select locations.

The master bedrooms feature a private bath with porcelain-tile countertops, oval soaking tub with optional jets, dual china sinks with Moen chrome faucets, maple cabinetry, elongated toilets, walk-in closet and make-up vanity in select plans.

Energy-efficient roof sheeting, wet bars with wine cooler, vegetable sink, French doors and paver-stone driveways and walkways are among the available options.

To reach Provence Estates, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit Rainbow Boulevard and go south to Windmill Lane. Proceed west and the sales office will be located at the York Village community on the left side. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
