Free Kaskade show, Paul Oak’s farewell, Mario Lopez: Your Weekend Club Forecast

Here’s the craziest thing at the clubs this weekend: Kaskade, the most famous DJ in America right now, is performing a free show at Cosmopolitan’s Marquee nightclub to celebrate winning an award naming him top DJ in the world.

Also this weekend: Paul Oakenfold has announced he’s leaving his Palms residency soon, so this weekend is one of the last times you can catch him at Rain. And now, here’s your weekend club forecast.

Dash Berlin, Hardwell, EDX and Blake Jarrell Friday at Marquee.

Ice Cube hosts Friday at Chateau.

Michelle Money Friday at Gallery. (That’s her on the right.)

Dada Life Friday at Surrender.

EC Twins Friday at Marquee Dayclub; Friday night at Tao.

Laura Croft Friday Lavo.

(And unrelated to clubs but still big: It’s First Friday downtown. As I said in today’s paper: Tonight is the inaugural First Friday under new ownership by four men associated with Zappos. Find free parking with shuttles to Casino Center Hub at Stratosphere parking garage; City Hall on Stewart Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard; Clark County Government Center, which also shuttles to Fremont East.)

Armin van Buuren DJs Saturday at Marquee Dayclub; Saturday night at Tao.

Paul Oakenfold Saturday at Rain.

LL Cool J Saturday at Chateau.

Chingy performs Saturday at LAX.

Mario Lopez Saturday at Gallery.

A-Trak Saturday at Surrender.

DJ Scooter Saturday at Haze.

Erick Morillo Saturday at Marquee.

DJ Bambi Saturday at Liquid pool.

Bryan Greenberg and Victor Rasuk from HBO’s "How to Make It in America" host Saturday at Pure.

Dirty South Sunday at Marquee Dayclub.

Kaskade Sunday at Marquee. Free to all.

DJs Chromeo, Cut/Copy and Z-Trip Sunday at Rehab.

Thomas Gold Sunday at XS.

Redfoo of LMFAO DJs Monday at Marquee.

Dada Life Monday at XS.

Now here’s some old Kaskade, one of the songs that set him off a few years ago, the very pretty "I Remember" by him and Deadmau5, with Haley Gibby on vocals.
