Gaudin Ford will serve as a top sponsor for the fifth annual GreenFest Saturday at UNLV. The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 6 a.m.
GreenFest is held in conjunction with the 18th annual Festival of Communities at UNLV, which celebrates the university and Las Vegas’ cultural diversity. More than 250 booths will be on hand for the combined celebration, which features a variety of children-friendly activities, live entertainment, food, beer garden, interactive exhibitors, fun festivities, pet adoption and prize drawings.
GreenFest focuses on environmental topics and exhibits such as sustainable home and gardening, green building, smart energy and a farmers market. There will also be a green vehicle drive, which offers test-drives of hybrid, electric and clean natural gas vehicles.
Also, on Saturday, Gaudin Ford will hold its spring car show to benefit Grant a Gift Autism Foundation. Any year, make or model vehicle is eligible for entry and a chance to win one of the show’s two awards. All entry fees collected will benefit the foundation. Guests will also be treated to a free barbecue lunch, a prize raffle, the Good Humor ice cream truck, snow cones and popcorn.
Gaudin Ford is at 6625 Roy Horn Way, just off the 215 Beltway and South Rainbow Boulevard. For more information, call 702-731-2121 or visit www.gaudinford.com.
