Poker great and World Series of Poker champ Russ Hamilton is the focus of a online gambling scandal within the jurisdiction of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission following an audit that uncovered big losses involving Absolute Poker and UltimateBet.com. The estimated losses are in the millions, according to multiple online sources.
The story has been slow to hit the mainstream press, but has been spreading throughout the Internet gambling community for months. Hamilton is known as one of the sharpest multi-game players in the country, and you can bet this story is more complicated than it looks.
