Harmony Home’s Bella Fiore offers mountain view, lake, private golf club

Bella Fiore is Harmony Homes’ resort-style neighborhood located within the Lake Las Vegas master-planned community in Henderson.

“Our buyers are impressed by the beauty of the Lake Las Vegas community because there are only a few communities in the Las Vegas Valley that offer the same type of environment where you feel the true desert at its best,” said sales agent Lawrence Britt.

The neighborhood is five miles from Boulder Harbor on Lake Mead and 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. “When you’re here, it feels like you’re in a resort a hundred miles away from the bustle of Las Vegas with the beautiful mountain views, a lake and a private golf club nearby,” he said.

At the center of the community is the 320-acre man-made lake, Lake Las Vegas, where along its shore is MonteLago Village, which features boutiques and restaurants and is the site of special events and concerts. Britt said he expects activities and interest in the community will increase significantly as Dolce Hotels and Resorts plans to reopen a resort-hotel along the lake in 2011.

“With MonteLago Village nearby, they can enjoy convenient access to special events and jazz festivals, boutique-style stores, as well as restaurants including a steakhouse and Irish bar,” Britt said.

According to Britt, Bella Fiore incorporates the master-planned community’s Tuscany and Spanish style into its three home designs. Priced from $298,990, the residences measure from 2,307 to 3,959 square feet and are located on 7,000- to 12,000-square-foot home sites, some of which offer city, mountain, lake or golf course views.

“The most popular is our smallest design, Residence 2307. Buyers like it because of its nice open floor plan with options to convert the three-bedroom home it into a home with four bedrooms or two bedrooms with a den, depending upon their needs,” Britt said.

Two additional floor plans are available. The single-story Residence 2593 features three bedrooms and 2½ baths, while a two-story design measures 3,959 square feet and offers four bedrooms and 3½ baths.

Each home offers a three-car tandem garage and design options allow for flexible use of space with additional bedrooms or a den. Among the homes’ features are granite kitchen countertops with gourmet islands, 10-foot ceilings, 6-inch baseboards, low-e windows, and paver stone driveways and sidewalks.

“Through our Live in Harmony company-wide campaign, we are offering great incentives for buyers at Bella Fiore, including paid homeowner association fees, closing costs, design upgrades, and on select lots no lot premiums for golf course or city views,” Britt said.

“Our prices, combined with our generous incentives, are competitive with short sales and foreclosures, without the hassles of competing with multiple offers, cash buyers and bank delays.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 93/95/Interstate-515 south to Lake Mead Drive and head east toward Lake Mead. Turn left onto Lake Las Vegas Parkway, proceed through a roundabout and follow the signs. Model homes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. except Monday, when they open at noon.

The builder offers 15 additional neighborhoods located throughout the valley with single- and two-story homes ranging from 1,306 to 4,265 square feet and priced from the $90,000s. All new homes come with Harmony Homes’ warranty that covers all components for two years and the home’s structure for 10 years. For additional information, visit HarmonyHomes.com.

Movie posters might soon be based on your clicks

You may have thought you left Blockbuster behind, but the basic way we browse movies hasn’t changed all that much. We peruse poster after poster, kind of like walking the aisles of a ‘90s-era video store. That one poster image, meant to appeal to as many people as possible, is often all we see before […]
