I can see November from my house

Whether it's Sue Lowden or Sharron Angle who square up against Sen. Harry Reid for the U.S. Senate job in Nevada, you can bet that there will be one other woman in the mix: Sarah Palin.

She's taken the political landscape by storm, overcome critics, and shown a no-miss ability to move the needle in any race anywhere in the United States in which she decides to become involved.

"She's avant-garde. She's a feminist. She cuts a dashing figure. There aren't that many leading Republicans that do that," says political science professor Larry Sabato.

"Think Mitch McConnell or John Boehner. When you see them coming on, you know it's nap time.

"Whether you love her or you hate her, you don't go to sleep when Sarah Palin comes on."

Here's a story for Complete Las Vegans this Monday morning that explores the strengthening star power that is Palin. I'm expecting to see her a lot in Nevada this summer and fall.
