Mandera: A friend of the Blago administration

The Chicago Sun-Times has obtained records showing Windy City topless bar mogul Perry Mandera as a man with connections inside
then-Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s administration.

Mandera has a connection to Las Vegas through former cop and mob associate Fred Pascente, a member of Nevada’s casino Black Book and a friend of ousted Crazy Horse Too boss Rick Rizzolo. Mandera is the former owner of record of the Crazy Horse Too in Chicago.

These days, Mandera owns VIP’s, a strip club on the Near North Side of Chicago.

When Blago was in office, Mandera was the sponsor of nine state job applications, four of which turned into employment.
