Montandon to open NorNev office
Republican Mike Montandon on Saturday will open a Northern Nevada office in Carson City for his campaign for governor.
The opening event is at 5 p.m. at 1931 California Street, Suite B, in Carson City. It follows the Carson City and Washoe County Republican conventions.
Montandon is the former mayor of North Las Vegas.
He is in the Republican primary against former federal judge Brian Sandoval, the front-runner, and incumbent Gov. Jim Gibbons.
Clark County Commission Chairman Rory Reid is the only Democrat running for the office.
