Morning Briefing of Completeness …

OBAMA’S GROWING UNPOPULARITY — More evidence of the general failure of the ideas of President Barack Obama to win the hearts and minds of Americans.

In this latest Gallup poll, he’s up slightly on his handling of terrorism (he’s sounding more Bush-like) but still way down on his handling of the economy (his "stimulus" bill has not worked) and health-care "reform" (never popular, yet he continues to jam it down the throats of Americans). The ramifications of this poor performance will be felt at the ballot box in November, unless he can turn it around.

CHANGING THE JOB-COUNTING RULES — Whether you count this as another broken Obama promise, or another example of how naive and unqualified Barack Obama was when elected, this change in how the White House will now count jobs "created or saved" by the so-called "stimulus" bill is a must-read for those striving for completeness.

For example, the Associated Press found that some recipients were counting pay raises [5] as stimulus jobs. That will be OK under the new rules, but only if they are counted as fractions of a job. Only a Democrat would count a pay raise as a "created or saved" job.

A CALL FOR HARRY TO RESIGN — Here’s a liberal calling for the head of Sen. Harry Reid over his "negro" comments. Be sure to read to the end in which it is argued that "as the leader of his party in the Senate, he has to put the interests of his caucus ahead of his own. He should retire for the sake of party, and on behalf of the important work he is leading them through."

"It’s what a statesman would do."

I’ll refrain from comment. You can find the full story here.

SCARY WHITE CROWD ALERT — The Las Vegas Sun covered a "Tea Party" event in Las Vegas and felt it important to report that the anti-Harry Reid crowd was a "virtually all-white, gray-haired crowd." No explanation as to why the predominant skin color of the crowd was important.
