Pardee to open Summerglen

Pardee Homes is getting ready to present its newest neighborhood — Summerglen — next month in a southwest location on Sunset Road west of Fort Apache Road, according to Regional Sales Manager Rob Tuvell.

“We are putting the final touches on a brand-new collection of two-story homes in one of the best locations in Las Vegas,” Tuvell said. “Summerglen families will enjoy easy access to the great outdoors, including Red Rock Canyon, several parks and the new Wet ‘n’ Wild water park. It is also close to top-rated public and private schools.”

With prices expected to start in the $200,000s, Summerglen homes will include up to 2,402 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, great rooms, island kitchens and lofts.

Pardee is including patio covers as standard features at Summerglen, making outdoor living easier on the family budget, according to Tuvell.

Summerglen Superintendent John Randall was recently named one of the best project superintendents in America, according to Avid Ratings, a national consumer research company, Tuvell said.

Pardee’s award-winning LivingSmart program for greener living is included in Summerglen homes, offering more than 30 standard and optional features that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage the use of sustainable resources.

Recognized as a national leader in environmentally responsible development, Pardee has earned national, state and local awards for building energy-efficient homes that save nearly 23,000 tons of greenhouse gases each year.

Pardee is helping many families overcome obstacles to buying a new home. Offered exclusively for Pardee homebuyers in this market, Smart Move Advantage, an independent company, will rent a qualified buyer’s existing home for up to three years, allowing them to take advantage of one of the best buyer’s market in decades, Tuvell said.

“The Smart Move Advantage program represents one of several steps Pardee Homes has taken to boost buyer confidence and smooth the path to new-home ownership,” Tuvell said.

One of the West’s largest and longest-established builders, Pardee Homes maintains a strong presence in Southern Nevada, covering the Las Vegas Valley with seven single-family new-home neighborhoods: Horizon Terrace in Henderson; Durango Ranch and Durango Trail in southwest Las Vegas; LivingSmart Eldorado Ridge and LivingSmart Eldorado Heights in Pardee’s Eldorado master-planned community; Sandstone, across from Eldorado; and LivingSmart Providence in northwest Las Vegas.

In addition to Summerglen, Pardee is developing two neighborhoods in the master-planned Inspirada community, set to open this summer.

“Pardee is celebrating 62 years of building homes in Las Vegas, longer than any other homebuilder,” Pardee Southern Nevada Division President Klif Andrews said. “Since 1952, Pardee has built homes for more than 40,000 families in nearly 150 neighborhoods and more than 10 master-planned communities, starting with Spring Valley, the first true master-planned community in Las Vegas.”
