PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“This is my grandson Cooper,” wrote Margaret Klerlein of Las Vegas. “He is 1 year old and a real character.”

“My name is Willy Wonka,” wrote Maggie McFarland of Las Vegas. “I love to follow her around the house and sit in my chair and watch TV.”

Nell Biggs of Las Vegas sent in this photo of her daughter Kim and her dog Tanda. “Tanda was adopted from a man dying of cancer. The night Kim told him she would like to keep Tanda, he felt peace and died that same night.”

Bruce Bacon of Las Vegas shared this photo of his dog Spica. “I am a 10-year-old miniature apricot poodle. My brother Benji and I are therapy dogs and have been volunteering at Nathan Adelson Hospice for more than seven years. We look forward to going to Desert Breeze Park every morning to meet other dogs and to get our daily exercise.”

Joann and Vince Saletto of North Las Vegas shared this photo of two of their Yorkies, Sugar and Jethro. “Sugar is 2 years old with her daddy, Jethro, who is 3 years old. They both love to have their pictures taken.”
