PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to View’s pets section. Because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

Jay Riley Eubank of Las Vegas shared this photo of his dog Karma. “She is very excited about her new doghouse, customized for her. Although she is a pit bull, she is a loving, caring dog.”

Michelle Benedict of Las Vegas shared this photo of Lady, who is 15. “When we adopted her from the SPCA, they said she was about 1. She enjoys going to the park and playing with all her friends. Lady loves tomatoes and can still spot a nice ripe one in the garden to harvest for herself.”

Woody and Pam Wood of Henderson shared this photo of their cockatoo, Longboard, who was named after a surfboard. “He is a year and a half old, and he loves to stand and watch TV. He is part of our family, and we love him a lot.”

“Our 3-year-old mini dachshunds do everything together,” wrote Denny and Veronica Bousema and family. “Sisters Ruby and Rose start every day with the morning sun.”
