GLVAR announces Realtor of the Year at luncheon

The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors hosted their installation of officers and awards luncheon Nov. 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas.

Neil Schwartz was selected as Realtor of the Year for 2009. Schwartz, affiliated with Coldwell Banker Premier with Bob and Molly Hamrick, joined GLVAR in July 1994. He is involved in the Multiple Listing Service committee, faculty committee, forms and professional standards, as well as finance and strategic planning and board of directors.

Schwartz is also active in Lions Club, Blind Center of Nevada and Temple Beth Sholom Men's Club.

In 1970s and 1980s, Schwartz toured with Liza Minnelli and appeared on "Happy Days" in the role of Bags, "All in the Family," "Maude," "Bedknob"s & Broomsticks," "Caddyshack 2," Public Broadcasting Service's "Steambath" as well as in a variety of TV specials and commercials.

Schwartz became a Realtor in 1986 and moved to Las Vegas in 1994.
