Colliers 'Links' to children's cause

Over the past 14 years, Colliers International's Links for Life golf tournament has raised more than $1.9 million for children in Southern Nevada.

The Links for Life Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization that has supported local children's charities since 1995.

Beneficiaries include Candlelighters, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and the Lili Clair Foundation.

GLVAR shows the love this Valentine's Day

Up to 25 volunteers from the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors will help other supporters of Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas Inc. frame a home for a local family Feb. 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The home is at 1525 London Porter Court.

Future homeowner Rosa Santana and her three children, Rosalba, Alexander and Cesar also will help to build the house that is expected to be completed this summer.

This will be the 13th local Habitat for Humanity home built with donations of money and labor from the GLVAR.
