RE/MAX to hold seminars about home foreclosures
April 23, 2010 - 11:00 pm
RE/MAX Central of Las Vegas will hold Avoid Foreclosure seminars hosted by attorneys and industry experts for homeowners who want to learn about their options for avoiding foreclosure.
Free legal consultation will provided by RE/MAX and its team of attorneys.
Seminars will be held May 8, 15 and 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. The presentation will focus on nine ways to avoid a foreclosure, how to save your credit, guidelines on the new Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternatives (HAFA) program offering up to $3000 in incentives and the positive impact of the new rulings.
For more information, call the RE/MAX Sahara office at 360-2030, visit FreeLasVegasForeclosureHelp.com or e-mail Help@FreeLasVegasForeclosureHelp.com. The office is located at 8400 Sahara Ave. and open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
If unable to attend any of the seminars, a free consultation can be scheduled.
HAFA, the new government program, was implemented April 5 to help homeowners "underwater" with their mortgage. There are defined parameters as to what the lenders will accept and a timeline for when the contract needs to be approved or denied.
The seminars are designed to educate homeowners about HAFA and other steps they can take to avoid going into foreclosure.
