Rhodes offers diverse plans

Local developer Rhodes Homes offers dozens of floor plans in well-planned communities and neighborhoods from Henderson to southwestern Las Vegas, starting as low as $80 per square foot.

"At one time in Las Vegas, it was more economical to settle for a resale than buy a new home," said Jimmy Crosswhite, sales agent at Rhodes Homes' Tuscany Residential Village in Henderson.

"Luckily for home buyers, the day has come where you can buy a brand new home at about the same price as a resale and actually get everything you want in it. With nearly two dozen floor plans at Tuscany alone, you can find the perfect plan on a site you choose in a community that caters to you...."

According to Crosswhite, homebuyers at Tuscany cite choice among the top benefits of buying a new home.

"Some people want a single-story home with a three-car garage and a large kitchen island," he said. "Some want space upstairs and choose a master retreat or loft. And many of our floor plans are available with oversized walk-in closets, which have been very popular recently. It's all about choice."

Crosswhite said a new home provides less hassle.

"With a new home, you don't have to worry if there is mold in the walls or cracks in the foundation," he said. "You feel secure knowing you are the very first resident of the home and that its warranty will cover any minor issues that come up."

"Tuscany Residential Village is Rhodes Homes' newest master plan and includes dozens of options for new homes, including its Terrazzo, Zanetti, Melai, Pesaro and La Luna collections. The 24-hour, guard-gated development includes many social and recreational opportunities for residents.

Its 35,000-square-foot recreation center, La Vita Tuscana, offers a comprehensive fitness center, two racquetball courts, full-size basketball gymnasium, regulation lap pool, basketball court and tennis courts.

The centerpiece of the community is the Tuscany Golf Club, designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson Jr. Other amenities include walking trails, open outdoor spaces and a playground for children.

Across town at Rhodes Ranch in the southwestern corner of the valley, is a guard-gated master-planned community with an award-winning golf course, the Fun Zone Water Park, a 13,000-square-foot community center and miles of walking trails. Rhodes Homes has homes starting under $200,000.
