Ryland Homes to offer special interest rates during valleywide clearance event

Ryland Homes is offering an end-of-the-month clearance sales event at all of its 12 Southern Nevada communities. Clearance prices will be offered on select homes that are built and ready for move-in. Homes are available with payments starting as low as $517.61 per month, according to Randy Char, vice president of sales and marketing for Ryland Homes.

"If you are paying more than $500 a month in rent, you could own your own property for about the same monthly payments," Char said. "Our month-end clearance event, which ends Sept. 30, includes homes that are move-in ready with dozens of upgrades, for payments that could be less than you are paying now to rent."

Among the homes offered in the event are two at Ryland's Providence collections, Auburn and Bradford.

Providence is a master-planned community in the northwestern valley that has been named among the top-selling master plans in America.

"Both Auburn and Bradford have a home available in our month-end special," said Charlie Muffley, sales agent for the communities. "At Auburn, we have a 2,087-square-foot home with three bedrooms, 2½ baths and a two-car garage for $198,605.

"At Bradford, you can buy a 2,629-square-foot home that also includes three bedrooms, 2½ baths and a two-car garage for just $226,208.

"Both homes include thousands (of dollars) in upgrades like stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen countertops, upgraded flooring, surround sound, and prewiring for ceiling fans and cable in every room."

In addition to its interior upgrades, the home at Auburn includes a fully landscaped backyard.

"And the Bradford home is on a pool-sized home site, so you have plenty of room indoors and out," Muffley said.

According to Char, the Ryland Homes month-end clearance event is a great opportunity for shoppers to take advantage of low interest rates.

"Interest rates are the lowest we have ever seen in Southern Nevada," he said. "We take that a step further with this event by offering a 1.75 interest rate during the first year, 2.75 percent the second year and fixed at 3.75 percent for the remainder of the loan offered with our preferred lender.

Auburn and Bradford at Providence are gated neighborhoods that include their own green areas for families, sports and pets.

The neighborhoods also include their own barbecue areas with benches.

The neighborhoods are joined by Windimere and Kensington, also Ryland neighborhoods in Providence.

Providence is known for its tree-lined boulevards, paseos and parks that showcase its classic American literary theme of westward exploration.

"It is a beautiful community and close by lots of shopping as well as the new Centennial Hills Hospital. We will also soon have a flagship 15-acre park," Muffley said.

Knickerbocker Park, scheduled to open in December, will include a splash pad, tot lots, dog park, multiuse events field, youth baseball field, jogging path with exercise stations, picnic areas, and designated spaces for future amenities.

All Ryland Homes sales office are open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and noon-6 p.m. Monday.
