Sales agents at Monterey help build the golf course community

When home shoppers first visit the sales office of Monterey at Las Vegas Country Club, they are meeting a soon-to-be friend. Sales agents Nancy Green and Amy Tabor enjoy getting to know residents and fostering friendships that continue at the golf course condominium community.

“I love coming to work every day at Monterey and getting to know the homebuyers. We spend a lot of time together during the home buying process and we often remain in touch after their purchase,” Green said. “The natural outdoor setting of the community lends itself to getting together with neighbors. I’ve been invited to dinners at their new homes. During the holidays, we share cookies. In the summer, there are barbecues. I really enjoy meeting our residents and becoming a part of their lives.”

“These are smart buyers who appreciate the value that Monterey has to offer. The setting is irreplaceable,” Tabor said.

“One of the things that I like best about working at Monterey is that we have the opportunity to really get to know the residents on a personal level. They become friends during the process.”

Monterey offers 27 different floor plans. Studio, one- and two-bedroom, single-level homes as well as two-story town homes are available and measure from 624 to 1,600 square feet. Prices start from $99,000.

Architectural highlights may include a private patio or balcony, an oversized walk-in closet, formal entry way, built-in bookshelves or floor-to-ceiling fireplaces. Some condominiums are available for immediate move-ins. Green said a furniture package program is a very popular design option among buyers.

“Monterey truly has a ‘warm neighborhood feel.’ Our buyers don’t believe they are living within the hustle bustle of a famed resort destination just steps from the Las Vegas Strip. With its big mature trees, the beautiful landscaping and the prestigious golf course, Monterey feels more like a retreat, but it is still close to the nightlife,” Green said.

There are views of nearby Strip hotels, golf course fairways and water features.

To visit Monterey from the Las Vegas Strip, take Sahara Avenue east. Turn right on Paradise Road and go left on Karen Avenue. Enter the community through the Las Vegas Country Club Estates gate on Karen Avenue, located between Paradise Road and Maryland Parkway. The guard gate attendant will give directions to the sales center. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
