According to the Congress of New Urbanism, an award-winning association of engineers and urban planners, neighborhoods of the future will promote pedestrian-friendly living around a commercial center. Such design is earth-friendly, economically efficient and sustainable.
“It is with these standards in mind,” said Dan Shaw, chief executive officer of RMI Development, “that the future is now for new home buyers at Stephanie Village at Green Valley.”
This 22.5-acre development will feature one-level flats and two-story townhomes priced from the low $300,000s. Floor plans include up to three bedrooms, three baths and loft space. The collection of residences is situated above shops and restaurants.
According to Shaw, the community is a new approach to living well and within value. “It’s an environment where you can do what you please, all within a short stroll,” Shaw said. “It is a place to meet new friends, catch up with old ones and take a moment to enjoy the good life.”
The grounds of Stephanie Village will include a residents’ putting green, mature landscaping with gardens and pathways, five outdoor barbecue areas and four resort-style swimming pools each with a hot tub area with shade trellis.
A 12,000-square-foot Lifestyle Pavilion offers residents a fitness center; commerce zone with library, business center and meeting room; club room with billiards and game tables; flex studio for yoga and Pilates; spa room; and a residents’ entertainment area with lounge and widescreen TVs. The Lifestyle Pavilion is scheduled to open in February.
Each residence includes European-style maple cabinetry and granite slab countertops and bath surrounds. Also included is a stainless-steel appliance package. Low-emittance windows contribute to energy efficiency, according to Shaw.
An open-air amphitheater, featuring concerts and events, will anchor the project. There are plans to retain a full-time concierge who will coordinate festivities and events, Shaw said.
The sales center and model at 64 N. Stephanie St. in Henderson are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To visit, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, exit Stephanie Street north following the signs to the sales center.
