FREE NATURE WALKS PROGRAM TO BEGIN FOR FITNESS, FUN

Clark County Wetlands Park, 7050 Wetlands Park Lane, is scheduled to host its Wetland Walkers program.

The program challenges participants to log their walking or running miles along the trails and pathways winding through Wetlands Park. Participants will receive a pocket map and fill out a mileage card as they keep track of the number of miles they walk or run anywhere in the park.

The goal of the program is for participants to collectively combine their walking mileage to reach a total of 3,500 miles, the length of the Rufous hummingbird migration path along the Pacific Flyway. A record of the total mileage will be displayed in the Nature Center Exhibit Hall and updated weekly until the 3,500-mile goal is reached.

Participants can sign up for the Wetlands Walkers program by visiting the Exhibit Hall at the Nature Center complex. For more information, visit
