Sutter Point debuts single-story homes in Mountain’s Edge
February 22, 2014 - 5:00 am

Richmond American’s Sutter Point has opened in Mountain’s Edge, a master-planned community in southwestern Las Vegas.
The single-story homes, which measure about 3,150 square feet, offer as many as four bedrooms, three baths with prices starting from the upper $300,000s.
Company officials say they are the largest new single-story floor plans in Mountain’s Edge.
There will be gourmet catered, family-friendly events from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and March 1.
All homes have kitchens with upgraded maple cabinetry, granite countertops, islands and stainless-steel appliances and deluxe master baths, which are included in the price of the homes.
Other features can include paver driveways, walkways and porches and three-car garages.
Upgrades, like multislide patio doors, wet bars and traditional and contemporary fireplaces are also available, depending on the plan.
A variety of energy-efficient features are also standard in all Sutter Point homes, including low-e windows and sliding glass doors, insulated garage doors, efficient heating ventilation and air-conditioning systems, energy-efficient exhaust fans, programmable thermostats and radiant roof barriers.
Mountain’s Edge has hundreds of acres dedicated to open spaces, parks and walking trails. According to the master plan’s website, they are also the region’s first “drought-tolerant” community, with desert landscaping designed to look beautiful and conserve water. Amenities are also close-by. Existing and planned schools, shopping and dining options are just a short drive away.
Richmond American Homes differs from many builders in that it takes a personal approach to building. Homebuyers who choose to build a home from the ground up with Richmond American can select from hundreds of design options to give their homes a one-of-a-kind look. Items such as countertops, cabinetry, flooring and fixtures can be personalized with the help of design consultants — a complimentary service.
Quick-move-in homes are now selling in Sutter Point, and customers and agents can visit the sales center through March 2 to register for giveaways.
