Tacinga Ridge to celebrate grand opening today

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, Ryland Homes will celebrate the grand opening of Tacinga Ridge, its newest Southern Nevada neighborhood.

Tacinga Ridge in southwestern Las Vegas’ Mountain’s Edge master-planned community is a gated neighborhood with pool-sized home sites. It has five floor plans, ranging from 2,203 to 2,752 square feet.

“Mountain’s Edge is one of the top-rated master-plan communities in the country, so we are thrilled to be building another neighborhood in this beautiful area,” Tacinga Ridge sales agent Alexis Oliver said.

“Tacinga Ridge is ideally situated near Cactus Avenue and Buffalo (Drive), which is nearby a public charter school that is being built. It will also be very convenient to access the (Interstate) 15 freeway, as a new exit on Cactus Road is already under construction,” he said.

Doral Academy’s Cactus campus will be open for the 2014-15 school year.

During today’s grand opening, Ryland Homes will offer free coffees, smoothies and light refreshments along with tours of its model homes.

“All five plans are two-story homes and are available to be built with Ryland’s signature rooftop deck,” Oliver said. “We have traditional plans with living areas on the first floor and bedrooms on the second as well as plans with first-floor master suites and dual master suites.”

Tacinga Ridge also offers value, Oliver said.

“Our homes start at just $259,990 and the builder has paid all SID (special improvement district) fees which is rare for Mountain’s Edge,” Oliver said. “Plus the combined monthly homeowner’s association dues for our neighborhood and Mountain’s Edge are less than $75 per month.”

Mountain’s Edge features more than 500 acres devoted to open space, parks and trail systems. The parks and trails cater to fitness enthusiasts and those wishing to embrace the natural desert environment’s scenery.

To visit Tacinga Ridge, take Blue Diamond Road west to Buffalo Drive and head south on Buffalo Drive. Turn left on Cactus Avenue and follow the signs to the community.
