Autumn in the air at The Commons with home shoppers venturing to the William Lyon Homes community and discovering the aroma of neighborhood barbecues and sounds of outdoor entertaining as neighbors welcome the cool down from triple-digit summer heat.
Homebuyers quickly understand why residents are spending time outdoors as they realize that the two-story homes are situated on oversized home sites with 40- to 65-foot-deep backyards on average, according to sales agent Maria Bengtson.
“The Commons is a smaller, friendly northwestern valley neighborhood with only 37 homes upon build out, and where neighbors take the time to get to know each other,” Bengtson said. “The other day when I was showing the impressive Lot 13 to a homebuyer, I could smell grilling and hear laughter as neighbors were getting together for a barbecue. It’s truly a wonderful neighborhood made up of friendly people.
“On Lot 13 is a stylish Plan Two residence with amazing designer features and plenty of space to live comfortably with four bedrooms, plus an optional home office, 2½ baths, and separate family, living and dining rooms in over 2,600 square feet,” Bengtson said.
“This home site in particular is a ‘super-sized’ lot with a 54-foot-by-60-foot backyard, offering more than enough space for outdoor living, backyard entertaining, barbecuing, a playground or a swimming pool.”
The home is priced at $228,000 and is expected to be ready for move in by the end of October.
In its fourth phase of development, five additional homes are scheduled for completion by the end of the year, after which the builder will only have 11 sites remaining.
Two additional models are featured.
Priced from $197,000, Plan One offers three bedrooms, den, 2½ baths and a kitchen overlooking a dining area and great room in 2,254 square feet. Options include a fourth bedroom, loft, third full bath and deck.
The largest model is the Plan Three, a 2,727-square-foot residence with an open great-room design and five bedrooms, including one bedroom on the first floor next to a full bath. Structural options include a loft, retreat connected to the second-floor master suite and den.
To visit The Commons, take the northern Las Vegas Beltway to Decatur Boulevard, head north toward Grand Teton Drive and follow the signs.
The models are open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily, except Monday when they open at noon.
