n Bass Pro Shops’ fifth annual Santa’s Wonderland Village is scheduled to be open through Monday. At the 8200 Dean Martin Drive location, patrons can get photos with Santa, make crafts and play free games. The village offers an old-time model train, remote-control trucks, a laser arcade, a soft-gun range and slot-car racing. New to this year’s village is a talking caribou. n Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest is set to run from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5:30 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Jan. 6 at 6300 W. n International performers from more than 15 countries are on tap to dazzle during the 2013 Zelzah Shrine Circus, with seven shows planned for Jan 10-13 at The Orleans Arena, 4500 W. Tropicana Ave. The theme of the January circus is Broadway and will include an original score and new costumes. Showtimes are set for 7 p.m. Jan. 10, 8 p.m. Jan. 11, 11 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 12 and 1:30 and 6 p.m. Jan. 13. Attendees are welcomed into all three rings of the circus for the pre-party one hour before showtimes to meet performers and ride the elephants. The exhibit allows visitors to put themselves into the role of skateboarders and scientists as they explore more than 25 interactive experiences.
