The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities plans to host the inaugural PJ 5K and 1-Mile Walk at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7000 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Participants are invited to run, jog or walk the course in their pajamas. The course will take runners and walkers through the Glittering Lights holiday display. The Glittering Lights holiday drive-through is scheduled through Jan. 5 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 7000 Las Vegas Blvd. North. The event is set to feature more than 400 animated lights along a 2.5-mile racetrack. The event is scheduled to be open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission is $15 per vehicle on weeknights and $20 Friday through Sunday and holidays. The first 15,000 vehicles will receive a gift bag filled with goodies. Sam’s Town, 5111 Boulder Highway, is scheduled to host its winter display at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at Mystic Falls Park. The event is set to include a 15-minute laser light show hourly during the holiday season, from 5 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 1.
