Saturday is the deadline to register remotely to vote in next month’s municipal primary elections.
You can register by filling out a voter registration form and mailing it in, submitting a registration through a third party, or going to the Clark County Election Department Saturday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
After Saturday, you can still register through March 17, but only by going in person to your city clerk’s office.
Five cities — Boulder City, Mesquite, Henderson, North Las Vegas and Las Vegas — are holding primary elections for municipal offices on April 7. Early voting begins March 21 and goes through April 3.
Turnout in city elections tends to be low. The 2007 Las Vegas municipal primary drew just 15 percent of the electorate.
