Towbin adds evening hours

Towbin Dodge recently announced it is expanding its service hours.

"There is a huge customer base that needs to be taken care of especially with the recent closing of six Dodge dealerships in the Las Vegas Valley," said Night Service Manager Jerry Lingle, 47, a 31-year resident of Las Vegas. "There are currently no (Dodge) dealerships in both the southwest and northwest valley, and we are filling the void immediately."

Lingle said the dealership service department will be open 7 a.m. until midnight Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday.

Lingle said a team effort on behalf of the dealership led to the decision to expand its service hours. To support the expansion, the dealership hired a dozen employees to work in parts and service departments.

"We had so much overflow on the day shift that the move was not only essential but totally necessary," said Lingle.

Oscar Palma, parts and service director for the dealership, hired Lingle to fill the position on the night shift.

"He has a great record with the industry," said Palma of Lingle. "We all know here that Jerry takes care of his customers. His record is spotless and the customers appreciate his dedication and talent."

Palma said Lingle will work closely with day shift service manager James Hager, who joined Towbin recently and, like Lingle, formerly worked at other Chrysler dealerships in Southern Nevada.

"We're a great team," said Hager. "We have excellent technicians and this will be a very smooth expansion at our dealership primarily because everyone works together. Our main goal is to take care of our customers. All of our customers can relax in knowing that we are the only Chrysler dealership with an evening shift."

Towbin Dodge now has 32 technicians. The dealership continues its factory training by participating in hands-on technical training and Web-based classes that are offered several times a year.

"Towbin Dodge takes pride in the technicians and their customers by constantly providing training for their technicians," added Hager.
