WashPo blog: Racial remarks may force Reid to ‘reassess his re-election plans’

Washington Post political reporter Chris Cillizza speculates about the potential fallout for Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., from reports which say Reid referred to President Barack Obama as "light skinned" and having "no negro dialect."

Cillizza reports on a Review-Journal poll showing 52 percent of Nevadans already have an unfavorably opinion of Reid and closes with: "It’s unclear whether the near-certain controversy his remarks about Obama will cause might force Reid to reassess his re-election plans."
