Mitt Romney isn’t too worried about making Donald Trump supporters angry.
In an appearance Tuesday night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Romney participated in Kimmel’s regular skit of celebrities reading mean tweets. These were directed at him in response to a speech he gave last week at the University of Utah.
During the speech, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee urged voters to support candidates who can bring down Donald Trump, calling him a “phony” and a “fraud.”
For Trump supporters, the speech didn’t go over well. Tweets directed at Romney flooded in Thursday evening, pointing out his response to Trump’s endorsement in the 2012 GOP race, among other past political decisions.
If Trump had said 4 years ago the things he says today about the KKK, Muslims, Mexicans, disabled, I would NOT have accepted his endorsement

“That’s true actually, I lost,” Romney responded to a tweet stating, “@MittRomney = loser.” “You may not have noticed,” he said.
