William Lyon sales agent: ‘City meets country at The Crossings’

In the bustling city of Las Vegas, there are still places offering a sense of a rural lifestyle, where horse trails align roadways and roosters are heard at dawn.

There are points where the rural intersects with suburbs.

One such place along northern Jones Boulevard is The Crossings, an all-single-story gated neighborhood by William Lyon Homes.

According to William Lyon sales agent Leah Karp, the neighborhood offers buyers the "best of both worlds" -- a sense of the relaxed country lifestyle just outside of neighborhood's gated entrance.

"Like our buyers, I am very impressed by the unbelievable location and lifestyle of The Crossings. As a longtime sales associate for William Lyon Homes and a resident of Summerlin, I have not seen a neighborhood like this in Las Vegas in a very long time," Karp said.

"The Crossings appeals to discerning buyers who want to live in a quiet gated community with well-groomed yards and in homes with designer touches and finishes. What sets itself apart from other communities is its far northwestern valley location on the outskirts of the city with mountains, ranchettes and people riding horses nearby," Karp said.

"It's like where the city meets the country. It's a place where a beautifully groomed suburban community meets the more relaxed, quiet lifestyle of living in the country. It's where ranch-style homes over 3,000 square feet are being built with all of the bells and whistles on large home sites measuring up to a half-acre, offering ample space and more elbow room for everyday living."

The neighborhood features three floor plans measuring from 2,652 to 3,068 square feet and priced from $268,000.

Limited-time incentives are available.

Among the neighborhood's most popular designs is the Plan 1, a 2,652-square-foot home with three bedrooms, 2½ baths, an optional fourth bedroom or den.

Prospective buyers can easily imagine both large and small gatherings in the large interior courtyard nestled next to the great room, Karp said.

With 2,843 square feet, Plan 2 offers four bedrooms and 2½ baths while Plan 3 features four bedrooms and 3 ½ baths; both include a courtyard entry and options for a den. An oversized "super bedroom" is available in Plan 2.

Each residence features an open design concept, as well as an island kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel cooktop, oven and pantry. A three-car garage and paver-stone driveway are also is included.

"I encourage prospective buyers to come and discover The Crossings, where the city meets and country and where you can enjoy peace and tranquility in a gated community," Karp said.

"It's a perfect place for buyers who are searching for all-single-story living in the northwestern valley and a relaxed lifestyle, and for those who want to simplify and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city but yet have the 215 Beltway only a few miles away."

To visit The Crossings, take the northern Las Vegas Beltway to Jones Boulevard and head north. Travel past Horse Drive and follow the signs.

Models are open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon.

William Lyon Homes is offering two additional neighborhoods in the northwestern valley: The Commons and Fields at Aliante. Fields at Aliante offers two-story homes measuring from 2,210 to 2,723 square feet and priced from the $178,000 in the Aliante master-planned community, while The Commons features three two-story designs that range from 2,254 to 2,727 square feet and are priced from the $190,000s.

Other William Lyon Homes neighborhoods include West Park Courtyards and West Park Villas in Summerlin, The Cottages at Centennial Ranch in North Las Vegas, Tularosa in the Mountain's Edge master-planned community, and Series 1 at Mountain Falls in Pahrump.
