The woman who drove the truck was reportedly breeding the dogs in her backyard in San Bernadino and was tipped off that her property would be searched. Officials say there were three to five dogs per cage and that the cages were stacked inside the truck. The dogs had previously been placed on a legal hold, but the hold was lifted on Thursday. People interested in adopting the dogs should monitor social media and the organization’s website for updates on when they could be adopted. The dogs aren’t yet available for viewing.
