Gender gap in business owner first-year revenue

A report from JPMorgan Chase found that male business owners in Las Vegas have higher first-year revenue than their female counter parts. According to the report, male business owners in Las Vegas made an average of $70,000 in the first year. Female business owners made an average of $57,000 in revenue their first year, a 20 percent difference. Other cities had larger gaps. Austin, for instance, had a 73 percent difference between male and female first-year revenue. And the gap in San Antonio was a 79 percent difference.

On Thursday, February 14, 2019, at approximately 8:42 a.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a report of a swift water incident where people were trapped in the Durango wash which is located near 8771 Halcon Ave. Personnel found one person who was trapped in the flood channel.
