Super Bowl LII Ratings Hit Eight-Year Low According to The Programming Insider, Sunday’s big game scored a 47.4 in overnight household ratings, which is down three percent from last year. The game was up nine percent in metered market results from Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005. But is the lowest rated Super Bowl since XLIV back in 2010. This year’s Bowl ranks No. 9 overall and No. 3 out of those hosted by NBC.
