Feb. 1 – Feb. 26, 2018: All telephonic meetings requested with the fund administrators completed.
March 1, 2018: All claims to be reviewed by the fund administrators and recommendations for payments to eligible claimants submitted to the LVVF committee.
March 5, 2018: Distribution of payments to approved eligible claimants begins on a rolling basis.

Las Vegas could have nation’s first government-regulated pot lounges

Pot cafes, stoned yoga and painting while puffing could be just around the corner in Las Vegas. Las Vegas officials are considering an ordinance that would allow the city to license marijuana consumption lounges. The ordinance would allow for a variety of consumption-friendly businesses, such as restaurants, yoga studios, coffee shops and even a smoking while painting class. The lounges would not be allowed to have or serve any alcohol or to store marijuana on-site. Assistant City Attorney Bryan Scott said lounges could be approved in March.
