Angela Santillanes is the younger sister of former Basic infielder Christian Santillanes. Both helped Basic take home the 2016 state title, and Wolves followed it up with another ring in 2017. Now the softball team has a chance win its first state title after winning the Sunrise Region for the first time. First pitch is against Douglas at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bishop Manogue High School in Reno.
