Temperatures are expected to cool this week as a cold front sweeps into the Las Vegas Valley, the National Weather Service said.
Sunny skies are forecast with expected high temperatures of 79 degrees on Tuesday and 75 degrees Wednesday, meteorologist John Salmen said.
Wind speeds will begin to pick up Wednesday night as a cold front creeps in. By Thursday, winds will reach 20 to 30 mph.
Temperatures drop to a high of 60 degrees Thursday and a low of 50 degrees. While the Friday’s forecast high is 62 degrees, the low is 39 degrees, the Weather Service said.
The valley will warm back up through the weekend with forecast high temperatures of 67 degrees Saturday and 68 degrees on Sunday, Salmen said.
No rain is expected in the valley and skies will be mostly clear and sunny, the Weather Service said.
