Expect a hot and sunny 4th of July, Las Vegas

Las Vegas is heading into a week of sunny skies and average summer temperatures.

The 4th of July will see a 105-degree high for the day and an 81-degree low after the sun sets. Tuesday will be about the same with a 105-degree high and a 79-degree overnight low.

Temperatures will fall slightly in the middle of the week, with 102 degrees forecasted for Wednesday and Thursday. The end of the week will heat up again with a 104-degree high forecasted for Friday and Saturday.
