Clear skies and afternoon breezes can be expected for the week ahead, the National Weather Service said.
Monday will see a high temperature of 103 degrees and mostly sunny skies, meteorologist John Adair said.
Temperatures will slightly increase to 105 on Tuesday and decrease to 103 on Wednesday, the weather service said.
Thursday will see a high near 101 and bring afternoon gusts ranging from 15 to 20 mph that will likely last through the weekend, Adair said.
The normal high temperature for the first week of September is 99 degrees, according to the weather service.
Toward the weekend, temperatures will take a slight downward trend with a high of 99 on Friday, 98 on Saturday, and 97 on Sunday, he said. Low temperatures for the week are expected to be near 80 degrees.
