Las Vegas to be hot, dry, sometimes breezy through weekend

The Las Vegas Valley will be dry, hot and breezy at times over the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday hit 97 degrees, meteorologist Barry Pierce said.

Thursday’s forecast high is 95 degrees, and skies will be mostly sunny. Thursday also will be breezy in the afternoon, with winds between 10 and 20 mph, according to the weather service.

Friday’s high will be near 99 degrees, and Saturday is forecast to be the hottest day of the week with a high of 102 degrees, Outler said.

Sunday’s high is expected to reach 101 degrees.
