Warming trend to continue in Las Vegas Valley through weekend

Updated September 28, 2017 - 8:53 pm

The Las Vegas Valley should be dry and sunny through the weekend as temperatures tick up into the low 90s, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday’s high was 86 degrees, and Friday’s high is expected to rise to 90, the weather service said.

Saturday and Sunday are expected to reach 92 and 90, respectively.

“Should be a pretty nice weekend,” meteorologist Chris Outler said.

A low-pressure system early next week is expected to cause temperatures to dip slightly and kick up winds, the weather service said.
