Boardman selected probation chief for federal courts in Nevada
Chad Boardman has been named chief U.S. probation officer for the federal courts in Nevada.
Boardman, the deputy chief probation officer the past two years, succeeds Christopher Hansen, who is retiring after 23 years of service to the courts.
Boardman joined the probation department in 2000 following a three-year stint with U.S. Pretrial Services in Nevada, another arm of the federal courts.
