Funeral for Maria Del Carmen Gomez

Maria Del Carmen Gomez, whose head was wounded and her hands were nearly severed in March when an ex-boyfriend attacked her with a machete, was remember Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012. Friends, family, the doctor and staff who held reattached her hands, and the family of the man accused of attacking Del Carmen Gomez attended the memorial.
