Hearing master no longer works at court after marshal flap

A family court hearing master is no longer an employee of the Clark County District Court System, a court official confirmed Friday.

Patricia Doninger was the hearing master on Aug. 8, 2011, when a marshal was accused of groping a woman who was there for a divorce hearing with her 3-year-old daughter.

Doninger was seen on video playing with the woman’s daughter and ignoring the woman’s cries that the marshal assaulted her in the witness room under the guise of searching for drugs.

Officials provided no further information.
