Inmate stabbed in Warm Springs Correctional Center
Two inmates from rival groups at the Warm Springs Correctional Center were transported to the hospital after a stabbing Tuesday afternoon.
The fight happened about 4 p.m. Tuesday in a housing unit at the correctional center in Carson City.
One inmate suffered multiple stab wounds and was transported to Renown Medical Center in Reno and is currently in stable condition, officials said.
The other inmate suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Carson Tahoe Hospital.
The center is under controlled moment while the incident is investigated.
