Las Vegas police investigate fatal shooting
Las Vegas police were investigating a fatal shooting Thursday morning in the central valley.
Police said a man was found shot to death about 11 a.m. at a residence near Vegas Drive and Simmons Street.
Officer Laura Meltzer said officers arrived at a house in the 2500 block of Ellingson Drive and found the dead man outside the home. The man was not taken to a hospital.
Homicide detectives were called to investigate.
Police did not release additional details.
