Man killed in shooting near downtown Las Vegas
A man died after being shot near H Street and Owens Avenue Thursday afternoon in what police believe may have been a gang-related incident, Las Vegas police said.
The shooting took place on the 1700 block of Curran Way about 4 p.m, said Lt. John Liberty, a Metro watch commander.
The man, who was in his 20s, was shot several times, Liberty said. He was pronounced dead at University Medical Center, Liberty added.
